Sheri did not grow up in Phenix City or Columbus, but her family has roots on both banks of the Chattahoochee River. She grew up a Coast Guard brat, living throughout the United States, until her father retired and the family returned to the Chattahoochee Valley area.
Sheri is an alumna of Central High School, Auburn University, and the Medical College of Georgia. In addition to graduating with highest honors, she has nearly two decades of hands-on experience in healthcare as an occupational therapist. She went on to further her training by earning licensure as a massage therapist. Sheri has worked with collegiate and professional athletes, Soldiers, first responders, and people living with chronic pain.
She continuously pursues specialized training in movement of the human body with a focus on neuromuscular re-education (how the nerves work with the muscles to create movement), biomechanics (how the muscles/tendons/ligaments/bones move), and soft tissue interactions (scar tissue).
Sheri understands that pain and limited mobility impacts everyone regardless of occupation or activity level. She is driven by a passion to see people live their best life and is excited to serve her neighbors.
